We received numerous
letters about weeds in our bush. We had no idea which bush it was
since we have several in our front yard. We asked the HOA which bush
they were talking about. Finally the HOA sent a letter letting us
know what side of the yard this bush was. My husband and I searched
and searched for these weeds in this bush and we had to lift up a
layer of the bush to find ONE WEED!!!!! Not "weeds" but one
weed!!!!! What is this man in his white truck doing every week?
Pushing back rocks and crawling under our shrubs? I agree it's
important to keep our neighborhood in tip top shape but I feel like
a first grader and the HOA is an angry teacher. We're tired of being
treated like a "weed" and I want to feel more like an important
person in our community. We need changes. I hope the board is
reading this!!!

"Concerned Neighbor's story is
almost alarming. It seems the Association is trying very hard to
generate revenue and weeds seem to be the best source! In this day
and age of employees using company time to browse on Facebook,
Twitter etc, at least this guy is taking his job seriously!
It seems a number of us have a
valid complaint about the manner in which the Association is
choosing to implement the HOA rules. My question to all of you is:
what is our recourse? or what is our best course of action, legally,
to establish sensible Association reprimands for homeowners in real
dereliction of their responsibilities regarding the maintenance of
their property?
There are still people parking on
the streets at night. There are still front yards which are rarely
maintained and kept neat, there are still lamps that are not lighted
by either gas or electric. Any proposals how we can move forward in
neighborly spirit and unanimity?
