Time to get rid of Jomar. No HOA needed. Think about it, just a
waste of money for hundreds of families.
These gas lamps are obsolete, and paying the price of gas to light
them is ridiculous. Getting them to be switched over to solar would
be nice. Once I get to switch my home to solar which every home in
Arizona should be then I'll be happy. |

I agree,
at a minimum we need to get rid of the management company. We
pay thousands of dollars to Jomar so they can pay a few bills, look
after a few landscapers and handle misc odds and ends. I
really do not see the reason we need any management company to do
anything. Their is nothing here that the board can not handled
themselves. I truly believe that if your going to take on a
roll as a board member you should also be responsible to maintain
the same responsibilities the management company does for Sierra
Ridge. At the
last meeting Kate from Jomar was asked, where do the monies form
violations and letter processing fees go?
Kate replied the violation money goes to the association and 1/2 of
the notice letters ($5.00 now $10.00) goes to the management
company.
At an average of 90 violations for gas lamps and 25 violation
letters for weeds that's 115 letters a month @ $5.00 each = $575.00
in Jomar's pocket. Now that's only the violations that I know
of from the last two HOA meetings. So if you think about it,
we are not the only property Jomar manages, they are in 30 states,
that's thousands of dollars in revenue for just letter processing
fees. Not to mention their contract fee! I am working on
getting a copy of Jomar's contract to post as well. The home
owners have a right to know.
Its all about big business and making money. It takes
advantage of hard working families.
